Took one of my coworkers thermal hunting this past weekend. Shot at 4 pigs, killed three. First stalk we are not exactly sure what happened, other than the fact that the shot did not sound like a hit and the pig did not react hit. Aim looked solid on the video for the most part, so I'm still slightly confused how there was a miss from my friend. Happens I guess.
We left that feeder and stalked some other pastures. Eventually got a text from the Covert Code Black that there were two boars back at that same feeder.
Made the stock back in on the down wind side, lined up on both, and 3-2-1'd them. My buddy's dropped, mine took off wounded. Found it about 40 yds in the brush.
We were able to find one more decent sized lone boar. We got about 60 yds away a double tapped him down. Taped measured showed 196lbs.
Got one good pickup bed photo of all three kills from the night. Hope to get some more this upcoming weekend.
