Well most all of the corn is now 12 inches or so and the hog activity seems to of stopped.

But we did not come up empty-handed.

Nice. Is it my imagination, or was something walking the treeline (right to left) behind the coyote, right around time :30?

There was. I have no idea what it was though. We did see some other deer elsewhere in the field. That little spot was way the heck down there.

When we first got to the field I saw what became the coyote a lot farther away. It was heading to us. I just didn't know this at the time. Too bad for him.

I like making them dead and I wish I were better at making them dead than I am.

I especially wish I were better at calling them in than I am. Unfortunately for me my attention span is very low.
