After looking at pictures I realized I caught the same little sow again that got away a few days ago but this time she brought a friend!

I went back to remove them and did a quick video so you can see the easier way to get them out.

I think they are hooked on the cherry flavored corn. Gave them to a friend today so he can raise them.

This is true. Yesterday I was playing with corn soaked in vanilla pudding mixed with hot water. They tore it up!

I used to use bait pigs in my big traps when I was trapping a lot. A big sow works the best but a boar will work also. After I trap one I would keep it in a pen for a good month feeding it every day. Then I would turn it out when a bunch of damage would show up at the ranch and start baiting my big trap. It would drag piles of hogs in with it. I would shoot all the new comers and turn my bait hog back out. That and having a pen big enough to just leave hogs in with water and food is the best bait there is.

I heard of guys using decoys too, never tried that but I tried a mirror in the back of the cage....that did not work and actually scared the hogs away.
