Archer county boar

Went out Tuesday night for a quick hunt. Found a herd right off the bat but they were just crossing into our field from the road when we drove up and spooked them off. So we checked another field and caught this boar entering the wheat.
Hard quarting towards shot entered the neck and went down through one lung and liver. Ran 15 yards before he crashed.
300 blackout loaded with 125 SSTs.

Thanks! We didn't have my scale or tape on us, but judging him against some others I've weighed I'd say he was a solid 240 +/- 10.

Oh yeah, we hunt primarily south of Holliday and out west of Holliday around Dundee. Theres quite a few pigs South of Holliday, we killed a 317 pound boar about 10 miles South of Holliday.

Its a 300 Blackout I built last year. Seekins Upper and Lowers, Rainier arms handguard, CMC trigger, Magpull STR and grip, Sight is a sightmark photon XT4.6x for the time being. I should be getting my Armasight Zeus Pro 336 50mm in the next week or so, then that'll go on it.

Good work keaton. I saw a huge sounder during the day about a month ago. They whew in a wheat fields on the north side of the highway about 5 miles east of dundee. Lots of hogs out that way.
