Bought a yhm spectre xl and put it on a colt mt6731 A2 lower I had spare. Yeah I know carbine gas and 1:10 twist; I made a bit of a rash purchase. Rifle is over gassed, ejecting to the 2 o'clock. The thing is, it shoots 115 fusion and 120sst very well. Brass is a little dirty but not all that beat up. The A2 buffer is already pretty heavy, yes? I ordered an sss flat buffer spring to try to slow down the bolt a bit. Should I get an adjustable has block too? Which one?

Thanks

If it is working and shoots fine, I say leave it alone. I'm over gassed with mine, but it runs 100%.

Try the spring. If no luck there I would go ahead and order an adjustable block especially with the carbine gas system.
