Had a chance to slip out and check some fields. Been very dry and at Bucksnort Field found this 220# boar hog was at feeder about 90 yds away. Wind was in my favor but moon was about 60% on cloudless night. Did not want to chance being spotted being so light outside so took that shot. It worked out well as hog went right down. Enjoy!

See, this is exactly the kind of video that raises completely unreasonable expectations about typical thermal hunting.

(On the other hand, is exactly the kind of shot that you earn after slogging it out in hard terrain weather in bad weather on a bum knee, empty stomach and only four hours of sleep before going to work - and seeing nothing).
