2 Song Dogs & Two Hogs: Pulsar Trail XP38 LRF

[Brian Shaffer]

Good night with good weather (mostly), good hunting, and all shots on target.

Song dogs & hogs …
Sounds like a good title for a country song.

Good shootin', and thanks for the informative video.
Nice to see what various pieces of gear can do.

That is a good night! Nice hogs and coyotes! Good shooting.

[Ratdog68]

A pair of prairie poodles and a pair of factories down. I'd say you brought a blessing to the deer population and a land owner. Nice killin'.

[Brian Shaffer]

Those to coyotes had the nicest coats I have seen in a while, very soft and silky, especially the first one. The bullet entered in the front and never exited. It would have been a fine pelt...but I don't do pelts.

Compared to the old Pulsar Apex that had a laser range finder, this version works much more easily. I like it a lot.

Good stuff Brian, kudos.

Nice video!

[gshock]

Good coyotes and hogs down! Happy Holidays!

Looks to be fairly easy to range and get the reticle on target using PIP. Just a matter of getting used to the controls/buttons?

[Brian Shaffer]

It is just a matter of pressing buttons. The shortcoming of PiP is that it is a magnified view with a very reduced field. That takes getting used to using. Once learned, it is pretty nifty.
