Has anyone tried using a backup camera piped to another input on the head unit or even an external monitor as a lights out driving solution for getting around ranch roads at night while hunting? I'm not in the Rovir budget club.

I've been using VLP to convert the video but haven't found a way to make the audio work using that program. To get Audio I have to load the full clip to youtube then download and edit it. Thanks for any help!

Didn't mean to offend your sensibilities. The differences in frame rate are noticeable. The second question was framed to ask the OP why he ordered the 38 when there was another model (closer) to the mag of the Zeus in the pulsar lineup.

The frame rate of the 50hz is pleasing. The 30hz does show jerky motion on faster animals. Are your distances pretty short? Just asking because the XP50 is a closer match to the Zeus 3x than the 38.

I wish they had a 2.7 640 unit but since they don't i went with the Q50. I don't miss the wide FOV. I like being able to shoot at native resolution and I really haven't been using the picture in picture. I'm hunting pastureland and river bottoms mostly.

Thanks, Fist shot was off a fence post, second was bipod. These were factory sst's. Good thing they were drt's. Both shots jammed. Been having issues with this 22" triad cycling properly. I did some ladder testing with sierra 110 pro hunters yesterday and not a single jam out of 24 shots.

Sound was intermittent on the first clip, i think it was due to wifi being on because it didn't repeat in the other clips. Not certain yet. First hog 75 yards, second 110 yards.
