I ended up ordering the XQ50 and can’t wait for it to come in. Also spare battery and qd mount for it. ******** was very nice and really help point me in the right direction. My vendor made me a good deal I think So I kept my loyalty with them. 3 nv products over last 5 years.

I’m pretty narrowed down to the Pulsar. My question to the XP38 and XQ38 owners is if you were spending that much for a scope already. Is the difference in clarity worth it to go all in and get the XP38 and risk wife shooting you?

No I didn’t. New or used? Something like this I tend to buy new for the warranty comfort.

The magnification is my biggest fear. I have fields where 200-300 yards isn’t unreasonable and wouldn’t mind taking that shot if I had one hang on me. So the extra mag would be nice.

PM him or call tomorrow? No real advantage over the 38 with the 50 model right? I wouldn’t let 500 be a deal breaker if it were really worth it.

Thanks for the input. I have a Flir PS32 I scan with. I absolutely love the red hot. Really makes things pop. But that is older tech so the white and black hot may be more improved. Yeah I’d probably never use the WiFi. I do like the pip and the biggest issue I had with the Pulsar N750 other...

And I’ve been reading a bunch of threads on similar thermals. Lots of information out there. Wish this tech was common where I live to get hands on. I’m one of the few. The rest are using lights.

Just watched the xp38 vs xp50 video on here. I couldn’t tell much difference by the video. Assuming actual view is better on the xp50. I don’t think I’d be able to get the xp38 at a price I could afford.

I’ve been talking to the dealer I got my last nv equipment from. Looking at the Pulsar thermals. I think staying away from atn is a good idea.
