    Silencer shop or anyone else?

My tax stamp just came in after 5 1/2 months. I filed as an individual.

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

I do love the creedmoor. I shoot it a lot for fun on my 275 yard range and it does 1.5" groups (1/2 moa) fairly often with cheap winchester xp ammo from walmart. Since more companies are producing AR10'S in 6.5 creedmoor, I've had the itch to get one, but was wondering if the 6.8 spc would be...

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

Thanks for the feedback. I guess that really answers most of my questions. If I was hunting on foot and set up for reloading, the 6.8 spc sounds like the hot setup. Now that more AR10'S are coming out in 6.5 creedmoor, that would probably suit my needs better.

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

I'm new to hog hunting. I was considering a 308 AR10 at one time. My brother in law and best friend both have AR10'S in 308. Seems like neither of their guns shoot better than 2 moa My b.i.l's gun smith told him 2 moa is pretty normal for 308 ar10's, so I got a cheap creedmoor that often...

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

I'm primarly hunting large hogs between 200-300 yards. Was just wondering if I should consider adding a 6.8 spc rifle. I really like the creedmoor's accuracy, and the recoil seems light to me. I rarely leave the back porch to hunt, so weight isn't really an issue.

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

No, the 6.8 SPC is different than the Grendel. Seems like the SPC is gaining popularity with hog hunters.

    6.8 spc vs. 6.5 creedmoor

I see that the 6.8 spc has a lot of fans here. Does it have any distinct advantages over the 6.5 creedmoor for hog hunting at 200+ yards?

Hogs not making it easy on me

Same here. I have a deer feeder with a hog light about 200 yards off my back porch. When I drop a pig, it takes about a week before the pigs show up again.

That's my boy Buddy. He doesn't like pigs, haha. Buddy is 75 lbs to give you some idea of size. Thinking this boar is about 275, but didn't have a scale to verify.

They have the best price for the creedmoor, but they are on back order. I got mine at sportsman outdoor superstore for $299, with free shipping. The trigger was too stiff from the factory, but I got it under 3lbs by removing one of the lock nuts on the adjuster. It is excellent after that...

Pruhdlr, the Compass is a hellava rifle for the money. I picked it up for $225 after the $75 rebate they have on them right now. I have a steel plate at 300 yards and it shoots 3" groups with the cheapest creedmoor ammo I've found. Hard to believe they can produce that kind of accuracy at such a...

    Howdy from Palo Pinto, Texas

Howdy folks, new hog hunter here. Shot my first wild pig on our ranch last weekend. Had been seeing him on a game cam every night and knew he was a big boar. Needed a proper pig rig so i bought a new T/C Compass in 6.5 creedmoor and mounted a vortex viper scope. Installed a motion activated...
