Pulsar XP 38..a little heavy but great image and lots of features

After just receiving my Reap IR last week I can add something to this, after comparing my reap to a Zeus 2.7 and a pulsar Helion 1.9 I can say although the picture is awesome the magnification is only about 1.7/1.8 so if you want native magnification I would go with MK 60mm

After all the questions ask and me thinking I was going in another direction I finally decided and made a purchase..ended up being the Pulsar XP 38 for my spotter and Reap IR for my rifle scope. Will post review after using for a while. Thanks for the advice received!

Do you need to remove both batteries before using the extended battery pack. Just received it and trying to get it set up.

Time has come to upgrade..I'm stuck between the Zeus 3× 640 and the Pulsar Trail XP50..mostly coyotes within 200 yards with some hogs also. Is the lack of native magnification offset by the picture in picture on the pulsar? Or is the higher native magnification on the Zeus better? I know about...

Sounds like the 3.5 native magnification is all it has going for it above the other scopes.

I've noticed that the Night Optics Panther 336 is a good bit more expensive than the same resolution scopes by Armasight and Pulsar..is it a better quality scope or just has a higher price point..anyone with any experience with this scope?

Hey thank you for all the great information it has given me several things to think about. I believe the Pulsar is the scope to go with although I really do like my Zeus 3×42 336 it does have some short comings that are addressed by the pulsar namely the lack of internal recording and battery...

OK have decided to go with one of these two scopes. Both have positive and negatives. Hunting hogs and coyotes, range 0-250 yards. My biggest concern is with the XP's low native magnification..has anyone used both scopes that could offer some advice. Also which would have the best view through...

If you will look for Lone Star Boars latest video you'll see the lenses I'm talking about. My question is does it improve the 5×75 over the old lenses, if it is a good jump in performance I may get that instead of the 640 and save a thousand bucks.
