    Another "help me" thread

After just receiving my Reap IR last week I can add something to this, after comparing my reap to a Zeus 2.7 and a pulsar Helion 1.9 I can say although the picture is awesome the magnification is only about 1.7/1.8 so if you want native magnification I would go with MK 60mm

    OK decision made!

After all the questions ask and me thinking I was going in another direction I finally decided and made a purchase..ended up being the Pulsar XP 38 for my spotter and Reap IR for my rifle scope. Will post review after using for a while. Thanks for the advice received!

Do you need to remove both batteries before using the extended battery pack. Just received it and trying to get it set up.

    Flir pts533 and 733

Do you think the first models out will be buggie? Or will they be pretty much the finished models?

    Need advice!

Time has come to upgrade..I'm stuck between the Zeus 3× 640 and the Pulsar Trail XP50..mostly coyotes within 200 yards with some hogs also. Is the lack of native magnification offset by the picture in picture on the pulsar? Or is the higher native magnification on the Zeus better? I know about...

    Night Optics Panther 336

Sounds like the 3.5 native magnification is all it has going for it above the other scopes.

    Night Optics Panther 336

I've noticed that the Night Optics Panther 336 is a good bit more expensive than the same resolution scopes by Armasight and Pulsar..is it a better quality scope or just has a higher price point..anyone with any experience with this scope?

    Zeus 3×75mm 640 or Pulsar XP 50

Hey thank you for all the great information it has given me several things to think about. I believe the Pulsar is the scope to go with although I really do like my Zeus 3×42 336 it does have some short comings that are addressed by the pulsar namely the lack of internal recording and battery...

    Zeus 3×75mm 640 or Pulsar XP 50

OK have decided to go with one of these two scopes. Both have positive and negatives. Hunting hogs and coyotes, range 0-250 yards. My biggest concern is with the XP's low native magnification..has anyone used both scopes that could offer some advice. Also which would have the best view through...

    640 pixel count

LOL..I'm sure.. it is a confusing thing.

    640 pixel count

OK thanks.. now that makes sense, I wasn't thinking in those terms. I admit I was confused.

    640 pixel count

I'm relatively new to thermal scopes I've owned one for about a year. My question is I have read that when you magnify a 640 core once it roughly becomes the same as a 320 core. A 640 core has roughly 306,000 pixels at 2× if it's cut in half that is roughly 156,000 pixels, a 320 core has roughly...

    Zeus HD lense

OK thanks that was info I needed! Looks like I'll try the 336 5 power..Night Vision Guys appear to have a good exchange program if I'm not happy.

    Zeus HD lense

If you will look for Lone Star Boars latest video you'll see the lenses I'm talking about. My question is does it improve the 5×75 over the old lenses, if it is a good jump in performance I may get that instead of the 640 and save a thousand bucks.

    Zeus HD lense

Night Vision Guys says that both the 640 and 336 ship with the HD lenses, has anyone looked through the 336 that could tell how much improved the picture is? Have a Zeus 336 42mm now and want to upgrade to either the 336 or 640, saving thousand on the 336 would be nice if it have a much improved...
