    NIGHT TIME RANGEFINDER ..... ??

    I am currently using a older ATN ThOR 640 3X. I have had this thermal for 7+ years now. I have NO problems with this thermal. I also am using a Pulsar handheld thermal as a scanner. What I would really like to have is a laser rangefinder for use at night. A seperate unit. Not attached to,or have...

    Shooting apps

    I would agree with your above sir. About a year ago,when word was out re. Nikon "down sizeing", Natchez had a huge offering on some of the Nikon's. I love the FFP style of scopes and the prices was too low to resist. I bought three of the 4.5-18x40 FFP scopes and two other SFP lower powered...

    Shooting apps

    Please explain why you need a app offered by a scope manufacturer ? Why do you feel that now that Nikon is "kinda" gone you need to buy a new scope that has a offered app ? I will buy your "no good no more" Nikon scopes. I already own 5 of them including a excellent M/L scope. I'M KEEPING...

    Shooting apps

    I have been using - - -> StreLok and JBM Calculations. On the JBM site the Trajectory is a "info in- info out" app. I also use their site for bullet stabilization calculations. It have worked perfect over the years. Burris also has a site that is great but I believe it is only for their scopes...

    Back at it!!

    Great to get back out there aint it. I was down for a short time and am periodically down for several days at a time,but generally - - -> still above dirt,still shooting,hunting,reloading,etc. Making the best out of the time that I am still here. Just grt out and do it,is my philosophy. Good...

    Say Hello To My Little Friend . . .

    Couple days ago the above gun shot these groups. The TB and the 5744 shot to the same POI using the same POA. The TB load is a "cat fart" load. Minimal recoil and minimal blast/concussion. The 5744 - -> plenty of blast/overpressure,substantial recoil,no muzzle rise. Love the obnoxious brake...

    BOG POD + HIGH CHAIR - ->

    You are absolutely right sir. That WOULD add weight down low on the legs. I have several 5lb hand weights not doing nuttin'. Could hang them using a snap hook. Thank you for that. --- pruhdlr

    BOG POD + HIGH CHAIR - ->

    Bog pod and extra high "shop chair" in back of my truck gets my gun 90 inches above ground. Great change in the aspect. Good for those nights that it might,could,possibly,rain. --- pruhdlr

    Valuing Zeus for sale to a friend

    Same with my older(almost 8 years now) ATN. Hate The newer thermals. Silly/stoopid features that you pay for but never use. NOT FOR ME. Will run my ATN until it dies. I do have a newer Pulsar handheld scanner that has been great also.---- pruhdlr

    Say Hello To My Little Friend . . .

    Got some 250 gr SST M/L bullets coming from a friend that has gotten away from M/L's. He has the bullets and sabots. He said the bullets measure .451-.452". He will send me 85 bullets only. Wondering what difference there would be in these bullets and the 250gr FTX. ---- pruhdlr

    Have noticed not much discussion lately. Especially on hog tactics and using thermal,chamberings and loads. Wondering if my settings are wrong or other problems. I like this forum and have learned alot about hog hunting. Hopefully I am getting the latest info and my settings are correct. Thanks...

    THERMALS TO AVOID AT ALL COST

    FULL Disclosure -> I WILL NEVER buy another ATN. Bad <--->Good --- don't know,but I want the features that I want. I will not pay for the extras that I will never use or the features that you have to be a pooter guru to enable. --- SAWMAN

    Finally getting hogs on our Georgia property

    Think - -> food,water,shelter. Also conservation. Kill what is needed to maintain your desired heard. "Kill 'em all" is a ridiculous philosophy in your situation. Here in NW Fla. we MANAGE our sounders. We don't strafe 'em. We do not wound them and let them run. Just being out to hunt keeps our...

    THERMALS TO AVOID AT ALL COST

    My "problem" will be - - -> when it comes time for a new thermal,I DO NOT want one with all the extras. Black hot,white hot,4X native,640,12 micron core. Ease of set up ( no computer crap) ease of sight in. Ergonomically smart. Will easily pay the appropriate price for that. Wifi,wind...
