I hunt on the Red River outside of Denison and experience the same thing as you after flooding. When the water is up I don't have nearly as much traffic around the place.

Should have known Ed would shot it in the eyes, he has some anger issues with animals. Did he shoot it in the balls too? He probably did the pig a favor so it didn't have to see the shirt.

I just make sure I have enough gun to cover what ever I come across.

I get as close as I feel comfortable. The more pigs the further I stay back.

Met a couple of guys that directed me to this forum. Like most of you I love to hunt pigs. I would rather bust the brush looking for them than sit in a stand and hope they show up to a feeder. Mike
