Hey guys, I'm still a ways away from being able to jump on any lease, but was wondering if there's a specific website that any of y'all have used to find a good one. I'm looking for a small area that I can head to that's not that far from Dallas. Not really looking to hunt much of anything...

Yeah, I figured as much. I was just kind of hoping beyond hope that they had a new "red dot" feature. Which would be really cool. I think we may be on to something here. Maybe we should call up Trijicon & have them work a few up for us to field test?

I got my MC6 today. I'd say that if you aren't going to be out but only a few times a year, I'd go with the MC5. It's got a lifetime warranty on it. You can go straight to the shop in Dallas and talk to the guys who make it. And it's half the cost of the LWRC. If you were going out all the time...

Thanks guys. I ended up with a 16" Modern Carbine MC6. I think I'm going to end up SBR'ing a .300 BLK eventually with a good can on it. I figured that I'd run both platforms around their original designs. Next stop is getting a suppressor and thermal for this rig and I'll be in good company...

What are y'alls thoughts on barrel length for 6.8. I'm looking at going 6.8 pistol, but don't want to rob myself of performance with too short of a barrel. I'm thinking of a 12.5" barrel, but didn't know where the sweet spot is on a 6.8. I've briefly looked online, but it doesn't seem as clear...

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with Crux Suppressors? A buddy of mine is a distributor & was going to get me a really good deal on one. I'm thinking I'll do it either way, but wanted to see if anyone had some trigger time with them.

Does CBB offer a full on round, or only bullets? I don't have any reloading equipment yet.

I am so close to getting an MC6. Ugh I can't stand it.

I know that I'm about to open up a big can of worms.... but it's hard to beat a Mac Pro (not MacBook Pro) with Final Cut on it. Not cheap... but there's a reason Hollywood uses them. Honestly, you'd be fine with an iMac with Final Cut. I think another huge advantage would be the lightning cable...
