Anybody know? How do you think they compare to our current crop of commercial units. I know the buffering and recoil protection is superior, but beyond that? Who has played with the latest and best.... Please tell us.

If price is not a factor get a milspec PEQ15...they can be had now on the secondary market for around 1500-2000

For me the top 3 would be 1.KRATOS 2.UTC-Xii 3.UTM-X 4.Trijicon REAP IR 5, LWTS The military based Thermal optics...are just hardier, refresh faster have vis/ir lasers..built tough with alloys not plastic, using mature tech ever since 2009.

Too bad the IR defense (Trijicon) thermals don't have designating lasers and digital compass function. Not to mention the LWTS could not compare to the Oasys products in the first place..... AGAIN in my humble opinion. I do like the newer commercial products I checked out. Some have View...

Discussed the 4G topic with a nightvision buddy of mine. According to him most of the Photonic 4G tubes that are coming into the market are not top of the line and have been less than par. He states that we would be better served if the Intens 4G you would get, is internationally sourced...

Time has come to decide if the premium is worth it. I have plenty of "old" "antiquated" green hue NV optics. The military and all my Contractor buddies swear by it the WP unit intensifers. What do those on this board with the experience in use and sales of this imaging intensifier paradigm...

You know its not the intensifier that you have to worry about right? Its the surrounding electronics that are not buffered for recoil. If you proceed....don't say we didn't warn you. The rating is a false sense of security when it comes to the PVS14 format being used on a firearm. I would call...

RIP your PVS 14.... Eventually the weak cables within, will fail because of the recoil and your life will be void of one part of your Nightvision Kit. Seen it too often. Has happened to 3-4 of my buddies. I would recommend you stop.... Unless you get a buffered one.....
