Got the UPS tracking number from YHM today. Should have the upper and suppressor back on Wednesday. Good customer service and the repair was free of charge.

Landowner called and said I had pigs in the trap. Took the hell hound out there and dispatched all 9 of them after work. Perfect size for the smoker. Ended up donating them to some folks that needed them much more than me.

The good news is YHM can repair it. They want the upper as well to insure it doesn’t happen again. 2-3 week lead time is what they told me this morning.

So on top of toasting my suppressor this weekend, the screen for my Armasight Predator has these white tear drop shapes on the screen. Anyone know what these are? What could of caused it? Is it something I’ll have to send off to Armasight for repair? It has not been a good week for me at all.

That’s what I’m thinking now. I’ll have to see if YHM can repair it in a timely manner.

The last 2 baffles had a little damage to them. It is direct thread. I did have the crush washer on but I’ve always left it on with no problem. I had just swapped out the upper for one with a longer barrel but had to install shorter hand guard to allow the suppressor to fit. The best I can do...

What could of caused this? New upper? Ammo? It was threaded on tight just like always. Looks like I’m out of commission for awhile.

What would be a better choice for helmet mount? For spot and stalk style hunting. Is it possible to have 1 as a spotter and another PVS14 for walking through the brush?
