    Scott that is exactly what we have done for years. Even just keeping fresh ice and water for 3-5 days will help if for some reason salt is not available, to a lesser degree.

    Was made aware of site by one of the members. Army retired (1968-1991). Primarily shoot a .260 Rem knockoff of the military M24 and just built a 6.5 Grendel. Hope to learn a lot more about night vision and shooting here. John
