    22 down in Wallis, Tx

Farmers started planting the fields for the year and the hogs are back. We managed to recover 22 from this group. FWIW, in the video when I yell “STOP!” towards the end when I’m shooting from the bed of the truck, the driver had already stopped the truck, but he let his foot off the brake and...

Didn’t see any pigs but 3 up, 3 down on some coyotes.

My buddy said he had been having success with one on his phone so he pulled out his Iphone and played it over the phone speaker. They had come out from the tree line opposite from us about 250 yards away. Took them a few minutes to hear it, but when they did, 3 out of 4 made a beeline...

Didn’t see any pigs but 3 up, 3 down on some coyotes.

Went out in Wallis/East Bernard Sunday night. The only hogs we saw were on the wrong side of the road. But we did shoot 4 coyotes. 1 in one field (didn’t bother to get video or pics of this one as it was 150 yards out and leaving when we set up on it, and it ran another hundred yards before...

15 down. Finally got everything to start makin videos again

Yeah, good call. when I sell/upgrade/buy a new thermal it will come with internal recording and extended battery pack options. No more dealing with extra cords, packs etc Velcroed, zip tied, taped, banded etc to the side of the gun in the future.

15 down. Finally got everything to start makin videos again

Yeah Harvey hit Houston pretty good. I’ll always be thankful for the Astros winning that World Series. Cheating scandal or not. That gave this city hope in a reallly hard time for so many people. It was surreal to see and be a part of. I had just gotten into the trade of doing line work...

15 down. Finally got everything to start makin videos again

Finally got everything back set up to make videos again. Went out in Wallis, Tx and spied this group of hogs in a cut down rice field. There were 3 of us, but my buddy decided to hunt with his new .308 SBR that doesn’t have an adjustable gas block yet. So his gun went out of service after his...

POI shift video. Suppressed vs Unsuppressed.

Hey strangers! We’ve all heard about POI shift when shooting a rifle suppressed vs unsuppressed being a thing, but I’ve yet to see it with any of my guns. I’ve shot about 5 or 6 guns that I’ve zeroed unsuppressed before suppressing, both with day scopes and thermal, and Ive never noticed any...

Thermal humidity temperature and dew point image quality

Yeah I hunted a couple properties near rock springs for a while and the rocks on the ground would heat up during the day from the sun. I wound up stalking a few of them on more than one occasion

Thermal humidity temperature and dew point image quality

Just got done hunting a bit north of Nacogdoches— 10pm-4am, 45-50 degrees (40 windchill), 60-65% humidity, 10-20 mph gusty wind, and not sure about the dew point. Mostly clear skies.. got cloudy for an hour or so during the middle of the hunt. Thermal conditions were pretty good all night and...

Thermal humidity temperature and dew point image quality

Hey guys, I’m looking for some numbers in regards to relative thermal image quality. I know high humidity and fog degrade thermal image quality, but can anyone give me some numbers that that will help predict thermal performance before a hunt? For example, X temp, with X humidity, And X dew...

Thermal hog hunting kills highlight Reel Pulsar Trail XQ38

Haven’t seen any pigs on the properties we’ve been hunting the last couple outings. May have thinned the herd enough for them to have moved along for a while. Hopefully we can get some new properties soon.

Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XP50 vs Pulsar Thermion XG50

Trying to decide on which is better for the average night time hog hunter who will be hunting various properties. This will be a 1 and done set up used for scanning (attached to the gun) and shooting on an AR10 .308 18” (yes I know it will be heavy lol). I really like the idea of the 12 micron...

    Ammo, none left.

I will never buy from CheaperThanDirt again. I haven’t since the post Sandy Hook gun scare. They price gouge in times like these. And I’m not talking about price increase due to demand and resource availability. MrGunsNGear, and Military Arms Channel will tell you the same. Do they have the...
