Y'all know I like to highlight the bizarre things that I sometimes find or experience while hunting and this video is no exception. I managed to kill two interesting hogs. I believe this is my 7th mulefoot hog. All have been killed in Montague County and this is the first that hasn't been killed on a property I used to hunt called TBR.

Oh my goodness look at the teeth on that thing. I can’t watch the video right now because I’m on my cell phone and they don’t seem to play while on the cellular network but I will be checking this one out as soon as I get back to my Wi-Fi connection.

It looks like a boone and crocket right there

LOL, he really wasn't that big, but he had the teeth of a much larger boar!

That mule foot mutation is pretty interesting. I’ve only seen it in your videos. Pretty cool.

Interesting to see the size of choppers on the boar with one whetter missing. Were you able to pull the teeth, or remove the head to place on an ant hill?
Would make a unique display after cleanup.
Since the mulefoot is somewhat rare, do you believe this one migrated from the TBR ranch ? If so, about how far would this sow have moved??

I have no clue where the mulefoots originated. The owner of TBR and I figured they lived on the property behind his place. For all I know, they may be all over the area, but I only hunt a few places near there.

So I hear there is new ammunition that is called the “6.5 Grendel Slayer”.... .224 Valkyrie. What is your opinion? https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/224valkyrie/

Looks to be good for long distance target shooting. Not so sure about how well it would kill a hog. Not too many folks taking 1,000+ yard shots at hogs anyway.
All their data seems to be from a 24" barrel.

From what I read it seemed interesting due to velocity and size of the bullet. I figured it might hit with serious power with incredible trajectory.... just wondering.
