Poor boy set up

Im new to night time hunting. I will be getting a thermal soon. This is the set up i have learned from this site, that works awesome. Its nothing new or special but great for getting started into night hunts. Start by setting up a roll barrel, or pig pipe. Then get a solar motion activated light or two. I prefer to put the lights facing away from me so it does not affect your vision. Make sure to put them just beyond the radius of the barrel. Green, or red lights may work better, but in my experience the pigs did not act like the even noticed the light. These are the lights I use, and haven't had any complaints out of them. Dont forget to keep wind in mind. I try to make sure i can access each barrel from multiple directions depending on the wind.

I use the same Litom brand lights on two of my feeder sets. So far working great, white light but the pigs don't seem to mind. Mine are mounted about 6' high and about 15' from feeder. Set for continuous low light, then automatically go to bright light when motion is detected. Makes for better game cam pics too.

The lights in the pic above are a new version, i do not like their detection/ on off cycle. These are the original version that seem to stay on longer. The new ones only have 1 setting and they cycle on and off to much in my opinion. Screenshot_20180420-141711_Chrome.jpg
