Modern Outfitters vs LWRC

First post- I have been in lust over the LWRC six8 a5 over the last few months and was about to pull the trigger on one and then stopped in to check out Modern Outfitters today and was really compelled by the MC5, which has an attractive price. Which one do you all recommend and why? I plan on running it suppressed and using it for hog hunting. I don't have the opportunity to shoot much and might take it out only a few times per year.

I have a LWRC 6.8 A2, The thing I like most is the piston driven bolt. I've run almost 1000 rounds through it and have only cleaned the bolt once. Not to mention not a single jam, and other then one bad primer it has never failed to fire. Also with the right ammo it was MOA accurate out of the box.

Thank for the input. The 5.56 I have is a piston rifle and I really like it as well.

I have 4 LWRC and two Modern Outfitters weapons. The MO weapons are relatively new and both 6.8.
the LWRC are 2 5.56 and 2 6,8. The LWRC have been around abd had a lot of rounds down range.

I like both manufacturers, but in my case the vote goes with LWRC. Modern outfitters is a relatively new mfg, and the vote is still out on them.

Never had a malfunction with either.

I got my MC6 today. I'd say that if you aren't going to be out but only a few times a year, I'd go with the MC5. It's got a lifetime warranty on it. You can go straight to the shop in Dallas and talk to the guys who make it. And it's half the cost of the LWRC. If you were going out all the time, I'd say that the LWRC would be more justified in consideration. You won't be disappointed with either, but I'd go with the MC5 for the money. Plus, it's way lighter....
