i need some info on how to make this work. I want an ak pistol (10.5") that I can suppress with one of my current suppressors. I'm a little confused about what all I need to make this happen. Apparently u have to make sure the threads on the muzzle are concentric to the barrel. And then u have to get an adapter for the threading so it will for a 5/8x24 threaded suppressor? Is there more to it than that? How do I check if the barrel is concentric to the muzzle threads? Where can I find the right adapter? If someone can school me on this and give me any other pertinent or helpful info, I'd really appreciate it. I'm hoping to get either the rugged surge 7.62 QD suppressor or the sig Sauer 762 titanium QD to work with this new set up/project.
Thanks in advance!

First you need to know the thread pitch of your AK. So depending on where it was made it will have a different pitch. Then I can recommend adapters to get it to 5/8x24.
You will also need a alignment rod and another muzzle device for whichever silencer you want to use.

Cool thanks. I keep being told it's a bad idea bc it will still be really loud and also overgassed and not cycle right.

It will be louder than an AR, but the gun will cycle. You already have the silencers so why not.

whoever told you about it still being loud is correct. We had a few in Afghanistan and they were loud and a waste of time. Never had a problem with cycling other than bad ammo.

I would be willing to bet that the silencers we have in the states are better than what Afghanistan has to offer.

that may be but I seriously doubt it given who I worked for. Nothing but the very best gear!!
