Video of reticles available. I've used #8 hopefully you can see well, shot on an iPhone with the unit shutter closed. I live in an apartment so I don't have the capability to show any decent shots of actual video yet and it's mounted and zeroed to my rifle so I can't walk around outside right now Will try and post up something soon

Dude thank you so much for posting all of this.....big help clearing up the nuances. Seems this model might be the least popular in terms of demand, but I think it fits my niche perfectly!

I think once the word gets out on it might be one of their popular ones. Right now the backorder list on it way less than the trails. I've got like 10 trails order but only a couple of these.

I won't kid if money were no object I'd get a Trail, but increasing lease costs and a UTV are biting into the shootin' scene. That said a RXQ will get me in the PM hog game!

Yep. I think it's going to be a winner. The size is awesome too. It's very compact.
I think the size and weight was one of the major factors for me getting this too. It really is a winner if you don't need video and all the bells and whistles

It also would be a hell of a good spotter. You could remove the mount or do like I do with my reaper. A strip of pic rail with a hole drilled through it with a split ring to a binocular strap. Works good.
I get the pic rail with a hole, but have you done this by chance with a picture on the 'split ring'? Thanks for the helps

Pulsar sent me the new Core FXQ38 forward attachment/handheld today. This is a cousin to the RXQ30V. I will be doing several through the scope videos with this unit. Hopefully, the RXQ30V supply isn't too far behind the FXQ38. More to come!

here's my neck strap setup. I also have a drilled and tapped hole in the middle that screws it down to a tripod screw.

This would be great to read thanks! I'm still trying to figure out how this one is more than 2x the MSRP of the RXQ....must be some kind of amazing upgrade and tech looking forward to reading. Good huntin'!

A few reasons why it costs more.

-It has a bigger lens 38mm on FXQ38 vs. 30 on RXQ30V.
- more complicated housing. It can be a spotter or clip on. The clip on attachment is not like others. It is a quick attach device that actually changes the ocular lens for a quick attach mount. Pretty cool the way it works. I'll explain in a video. I just got the unit last night.

Those are the only two outwardly obvious differences that might drive up the cost. I'm not privy to Pulsar's pricing plans.

Ok that makes sense. I'm a huge mOraNs with thermal I'm still learning a ton every day. Either way can't wait to hear the review once you get it out at night with some hogs in the reticle

I used the FXQ50 a while back on a hunt. I was pretty impressed with the image quality being a 384 core. I'll be looking forward to Alex's review as well. I didn't spend enough time with it to give it a real good going over, but in the short time I used it, I was pretty impressed.

I've been messing with it the last couple days. It make a a pretty good handheld and the green makes things pop pretty good.

I'm working out the kinks on how to make a video with it. Putting a camera or phone behind it doesn't do it justice. Give me a couple days to work with it and I'll post a few videos. I don't want to do it a disservice by making a poor quality product because my recording device/process is of low quality.
