Hey Homebrewer what brass catcher is that? Looks expensive but I'm tired of losing all my brass. 100% of the time I do NOT remember to pick it up (adrenaline) and my velcro caldwell brass catcher won't stay put during a stalk.

Caldwell has a new one which I bought, and intend to try out at my next range outing. Much nicer design. I too have the old Velcro version (useless). The new one looks promising, and very affordable. Got mine at Cabela's.

I am using a Tactical Brass Recovery brass catcher. You are correct, it is a little pricy - but in this case you really get what you pay for.
The Operator model uses a quick disconnect lever, and pivots away from the rifle with detents every 45 degrees to allow access to the chamber for clearing jams (DJ likely knows about Jams..).
