I had a Banshee growing up and loved ripping around the corn fields trying to find ways to hurt myself. Fortunately I never succeeded and was safe or at least never got hurt!

Fast forward to this year and I think I want to pick up a used quad. Swamp of south Florida and we get RAIN. I'm ok on the main roads of the lease, but there are times I just can't get into the fields to our best spots with my RWD 4skinner. Not interested in selling and going 4wd and the UTV's are just too darn expensive.

Anyone here have any makes/models they would recommend? Stay away from? I'm not sure how much engine tech has changed, but my Banshee was flawless and I pounded it just gas, rubber and oil and it was a beast. Are they still made that way? Thanks for any input looking forward to reading thoughts here heading to take a dump missed my window this morning got a trouble maker that's been brewing in the car the last 3 hours. Wish me luck.

Hard to go wrong with one of the Honda 4x4 quads.

Banshee is not what you want in the swamps of Florida. lol
I have owned and/or ridden just about every dirt bike and quad made, raced em', jumped em', broke em', fixed em', they are all pretty good if your not into heavy duty work or racing. Four stroke is going to be your best bet, 2 strokes are good for tracks and fast riding, probably not what your going to be doing. A 2 stroke will foul out if putting around and hard to make them quiet. Actually a quiet 2 stroke is should be against the law. lol

Stick with the Honda prior to the fuel injection. I think they started around 2007 or 8. They still make models with manual shift if you don't trust the electric shifts.

I've got a Yamaha Grizzly 700 4x4. It has performed flawlessly for me.
