next field was pretty big so I stopped on the edge and scanned with the rifle/thermal. I couldn’t see any hogs but oddly enuf I could smell them. wouldn’t you know when I laid my rifle on the hogs while setting up for the previous pics, the stink got on my stock. whew it was rank, but by the end of the night I grew to like it and found myself sneaking whiffs of it while OinK wasn’t looking.
got to the other side and there they were. about a dozen. OinK activated his cloaking device and I hid behind him as we walked right in. Oink is a killer, not an observer. while I had my thumb pointed north in my south end, he started firing. I joined the game as fast as I cud but OinK had all of them killed by the time I took off the safety. I’ll take credit for an assist from hitting one in the nutts (dang that had to hurt). a couple of them were really big hogs… lonestar suses for sure.
