Just because it didn't exit doesn't necessarily mean that the bullet disintegrated. It may have lodged into a rib or part of the spine. Hogs can absorb a lot of punishment.

I shot a 225lb hog a few years ago with a .45-70 that did not exit. I found it in several pieces in the spinal column.

Maybe i was expecting too much from them? That was the first two for one ive tried...
I got some 85 grain TSX on the way to test out too.

This is why we like the SST. It dumps all of its energy into the target. You will thank yourself if you shoot around livestock.

haha yes we do shoot around other animals that dont need to be shot.. ive killed a few hundred with the 120 sst but never got that close and tried a 2 for 1.
Gonna test the 85s on some if i get the chance and the background is clear of nonswine.
