A buddy and I set up high on the west ridge at the lake and a sounder with about six adults and some piglets came in from the south around 9:30. They never closed the final 20 yards to the corn feeders and you could tell they had smelled something they didn't like. I don't think they were aware of us but they slowly turned to head back to where they had come from. I tapped my buddy on the shoulder and started the 3-2-1 countdown. We executed a perfectly synchronized double kill. Both sows dropped in their tracks. We will be forever kicking ourselves for not getting a video of the shots but it was a great experience none the less. First time I've accomplished this feat. My buddy's head shot bulged out both eyes on his hog.
