Pulsar BPS 3xAA Battery Holder

Anyone have any experience with this battery pack purchased one online as an impulse buy as a backup thinking there will always be AA around. But after seeing one YouTube video if it only lasting 15 minutes with cheap batteries hopefully I didn’t waste $50.

I would buy an extra IPS5 battery pack if you only have one. I guess if you're in the outback and don't have a way to charge I guess the BPS would be an option. But 15 minutes? That sounds like maybe some really cheap AA's. My Pulsar Quantum handheld would last about three hours on three AA's but I got tired of changing them and bought the EPS5.

I bought it to keep on my scope while not using it. (No batteries in it) I’ve had an issue with both my old xq50 and now xp50 turning on while in my AR soft sided case being transported and I didn’t want to carry it around with the connector prongs exposed with no battery. I’ll try it with energizer max batteries tonight and report back. For the cost of the scope it’s worth it just to protect the terminals when not in use.

I got maybe 40 minutes on a set of energizers. Temp was steady 62. I wouldn’t expect top batteries to do much longer. That’s disappointing.

Thanks for the update it is disappointing but that would probably get me by on my normal pasture checking. I do have an all night hunt coming up in a few weeks and mainly wanted this as a backup guess I will keep a box of batteries in the truck too.
