1 Coyote, Maybe 2, and a Hog That Just Walked Away...

I hit both coyotes, but didn't realize I hit the last one until I reviewed the video. When I went to look for it, it was not out in the open. It may be in the vegetation, but some of that stuff was waist high.

The hog got lucky, or maybe I got unlucky. The wind was in my favor. It was cloudy and very dark. I don't think he ever noticed me, but he danged sure noticed a bunch of "stampeding" cattle. I don't know what their deal was or why they were running, but the came from the pasture next door. Where I had an open shot at the hog, I now had a field with cattle as a backdrop, and the hog just walked away, through the cattle.

Two 'yotes smoked, with that much time allowed between shots? Very fortunate opportunity for ya. Nice hits on "bof-em". Damned Moo-Deer, rrernt a perfectly good kill. You'll git 'im.

You showed great restraint in not taking a shot at that boar. While a pretty frustrating situation, I'm sure that the land owner appreciated it.

Looking forward to seeing how those Bergers do on hogs.

Not a bad night at all - coyotes down is always good. That new round sure opened a hole in that coyote! It will be interesting to see what it does to a hog.
