For the first time I'll take it. I hung a Kill Light on a tree about 20 feet from the feeder. I had two blinds setup so if I needed to, I could get closer to see. Around 9pm and dark the first pigs came in really loud. I had no idea where they were coming in from. I could see them at the feeder but it was hard to tell the size. I've been waiting for "white fattie" and could see this pig was white so I shot. Could see nothing and, thought holy **** I missed! As I walked up I saw this guy, dead right where I shot him. I waited till midnight but nothing else showed. The light worked well, I just need to be at the closer blind. I give myself a grade "C" for the night with extra homework required.

The homework seems to never stop! But it's fun at the same time. Good hog down!

I use a couple cheap solar landscape lights (amir I believe) in green from Amazon to illuminate my feeder area. They stay on all night for the most part unless it's a really cloudy day. I don't really use them to identify or for enough light to shoot. It just helps me with seeing movement around the feeder. Keeps me from scanning every time I think I hear something. I either run a gun mounted green light or a cheap X sight for shooting.
