Not new, just returned

Been gone for awhile. Had an overwhelming load of personal life get dumped on me a good while back. Didn't have time to do any Pig Poppin. Now things have returned to an even keal and its time to get back after some piggies.

Got the old bait site cleaned up a little, knocked the cob webs and wasp nests out of the shooting house. Pretty good action on the camera so, Saturday night I will see if I can stay awake long enough to pop some.

A target rich environment is never a bad thing. Glad to hear you finally caught your tail. May the swine blood flow deeply.

Got an update?

Went last Saturday night with a friend. One rifle set up with night vision, the other a green light. The 5 little pigs showed up. Plan was for both to shoot. Lowered the green light slowly on to them. Once the light started to shine them, they acted like their hair was on fire and would run into the woods. After several attempts we decided I would shoot then hope for some follow up shots with the light. Didn't work out well. Got one little bacon seed out the bunch.

Get used to not be that way… Back when a good green scopelight setup was $150.

Now you can get the same on Amazon for $40; everybody has got one but doesn’t know how to use it properly.

You’re doing things right… Keep swinging.

View attachment 7358 It's no big deal. I put my green landscape lights back up around the feeder the other day. Pigs are back under them, should make it a little easier with the weapon mounted green light in the future when I need to use it. Got this little last night.
