I have used the calls before with no luck but this afternoon a little patience paid off. Called a sounder into one of my bait spot clearings and got these 4. Lots of fun! In my thick woods I usually get a shot at one at a time, so getting 4 was pretty cool.EDD17371-58BA-4C74-9FA1-4B1E3070B8D0.jpeg

Glad to hear it...

Does “a little patience” refer to the time spent calling or the variety of sounds used?

Lonepunman- perhaps a little of both. Due to the heavy woods changing locations isn’t much of an option for me. So I used 3 different calls. First 2 sets were about 15 minuets each. The last one was more like 25. When I heard the response from the sounder and began to see them moving through the woods I just continued the call. The last call used was “hey baby”. I started calling about 4 pm. Took my shots about 4:45 pm.
