Are you 536 users using the default enhancement settings? They seem a bit wonky to me. Todd’s excellent video on how set up an Armasight doesn’t seem to apply as the values are way different. Anyone got the enhancements settings set up to their liking to give me a base?

I wish Todd would do a settings video on the pts line of scopes and post it. I just use my 233 on outdoor instead of default. Haven't really done much adjusting with it.

I have a 536, started with the 233 as my `1st thermal

I cannot say much about how this compares to other scopes, but I love it

had issues with 2 of the 233 models, sent in to AZ for repair, which did work well

I had a question, tried to call the same person at CS, they said she had left, CS was being upgraded...maybe better

Wow, sent 2 of them back? Are you seeing a big difference between 233 and 536?

I have the pulsar xp50 and the pts536 now

I can say for scanning and snap shooting the FOV is a big item to consider... The 536 does not win in this area

We are using the xp50 on a gas gun for these fast reaction, or close in shots and then the pts536 on a bolt gun for the slightly longer shots. I like the picture in the XP50 better on low mag 1.6 (I know it's 640 so it should be), but when I try to zoom the xp50 up to 3.2 or 6.4 I actually like the picture in the pts536 better to shoot with at that point. So for our predator hunting the pts536 works well as we don't get many follow up shots and the animals around here are pretty slow to come in close.

If you are only going to own the 536 I would suggest running something like a PVS14 and an IR laser on the same firearm so that you can gain the function needed for close in shooting as well as the longer shots.

I have had no experience with flir CS, but I have seen a few negative comments about their CS on different forums. I hope it's all just growing pains as they seem to be making

Todd is not doing anything with flir until they fix their problems. Todd refuses to even sell flirs right now.

Good to hear Todd that is not doing anything with FLIR. My CS experience was less than ideal at first, but eventually got two working FLIRs (replacements) and those have worked great. Took a lot of pushing from myself and the dealer. First time around took 2 months to get a working Zeus. Second time they replaced the PTS736 within a week of mailing it in.

Not sure if that's because of the ruckus I raised or if that's a sign things are getting better.
