Had a Mini chambered in 6.8SPC for quite some time now. A couple months ago I got a great deal on a gently used Mini chambered in 300BLK.
Put Redfield Accu-trac 2-7X33 on it and got some loads for my other 300BLK AR's that I will be trying out soon.
Great shooting on them hogs. Daytime hogs aint easy. --- pruhdlr

All I saw was one shot fired. Was that a hog 2fer?

Yes, on the last shot, not shown, it was a 2fer. I only saw one when I shot. I always take the shot and then film, never works out trying to film a shot and I only have a second or two to shoot. I dropped the camera on this video and it just happened to catch me shooting at the start it.
Textbook fieldwork results in forever footage.
That's interesting terrain... enough cover for hogs but open enough to allow for fairly free movement.
(I'd like to try that here in the thick of the hill country, but would just end up with a chin full of dirt and my ears pierced by cactus and thorns).
Do you night hunt in that area?

No night hunting. The places I hunt I have to ride an ATV into, heavily wooded, not much open space, easy to get lost in the night. One shot and it would be over, they would scatter and be in the brush in a second. Then I would be stuck trying to get out without getting knocked out by a low limb. Plus, I can barely stay up to 10 pm anyway....
