Since I didn't see a zoom indicator, I'm assuming there was no digital zoom?

No zoom 40-50 yards on the hogs, 60-100yards on the deer.

No, we aren't. We're talking about the statement *you* made that waterproof equals no sound. That statement is false. Lots of waterproof devices have sound. The waterproof Pulsar scopes have mics and will soon be able to record sound. There's no reason the PTS233 shouldn't have sound and also be waterproof.

there is no telling what the Pulsars will sound like when they do turn the sound on. I would suggest to you that their problem is to get sound because of the waterproofing or it would already be on...

I don't think so, Frank. The problem with the Pulsars is that the video runs just slightly faster than real time. So there is a sync issue between audio and video. They have made an adjustment to the video, but it still isn't real time for some reason. Pulsar is working on the issue according to the folks at Sellmark.

With that said, you are right in that there is no telling what the quality will be.

That is right Brian, I heard that too, well they were almost ready to release, but that does not affect performance just the recording, still a good thermal and they are fighting for market share.
