very kind of you. actually i was poking fun of frankT with my comment. his wife took his credit cards away so he secretly uses paypal without her knowing.Just send me a PM on what you want to have built.
I can certainly find the logic in that. But with a little homework and help, I think I can save my friend some $$$... which he can then contribute toward fuel costs when going on pig hunts. Right now, with Jhop's help, I've got it narrowed down to using the 12.6V battery packs (three 18650 cells) I made for my Pulsar thermal with a step down buck converter to feed the Armasight thermal 6 t0 6.3V. I'll test it for ripple with a halfway equivalent load (maybe a small dc motor) before hooking it up to the scope with the 620 series Binder connector. This way, my friend and I can use the same battery packs and charger.my .02 is use a commercial one that will not void my warranty, after $3500-10,000 for a thermal it is not that much of and added cost, not going to take chances I don't have to.
@FrankT did you make the cable to connect it to the scope or did someone else make it for you? My Zeus came with the DVR/power cable. I’m assuming I just need a cable to connect to that. ThanksThis is what I am using
