Thanks... I enjoy workin' with my paws... especially with wood. I'm trying to get up the nerve to cut into my pair of raw ivory tusks. LOL

image.jpg Thanks Guys, here's her big sister Amelia. I've got a 10 month old, named Scout who will be Introduced to it after she starts walking haha! Amelia is about to step up to a more powerful bow so she can start hunting.

These are the only pix I have of my take-down longbow I had made for me. Nice gent out of Arizona who calls himself "Zona Bows". He's a long-haul trucker who makes bows when he's home. These are the pix of my bow just before he boxed it up to send to me.

Very nice.Always wanted to make my own but I am impatient. I want things done in short order. I make metal grills and such out of metal but if you want a jewelry box, forget it.

Another longbow I really like, is my Martin Moutaineer. This one shoots very nicely too. But, I hate trashin' expensive carbon arrows !

I don't really know why I took such a liking to this platform, but, I liked it enough to buy three of 'em. Two, I've never even assembled and strung. It's basically a riser from one of their compounds, with traditional recurve limbs, to make a take-down bow with. I think it was because they were such a deal at the time (about $120). You had to lightly sand the limbs though, they weren't finish sanded at the factory. Fiberglass slivers suck ! Easily fixed though. I think I liked the notion of being able to add some of the extras (if/when desired) that the compound riser affords. It's still too heavy, even without the "training wheels" on it though. It's the Jaguar, from Martin.
